Good morning Sheryl
Thank you so much for allowing me the opportunity to work with you on this wedding. The clients were fantastic! I wanted to take GG and Beebop home with me. (smile)
Kathryn and Megan were fun to work with. But most importantly, it was such an awesome experience to watch you in action. As I said on Saturday, I would never have been able to learn as much in the classroom as I did by shadowing you.
Although my feet were killing me and I was totally exhausted by the time I got home, I had a wonderful time and I can't wait to do it again.
Thanks again for offering to help me.
Sincerely
Randi |

Dear Sheryl,
I must say that it has been an honor
to assist you with several weddings.
Your dedication to creating a spectacular and flawless event for every
bride, groom and family member you worked with is something that I greatly
admire. You knew every detail of the
wedding and were able to ensure that everything was done and on time, taking
all of the stress off of the couple and their families. There are so many details that go into each
wedding and I cannot imagine what it would be like as a bride to have to
remember all of them. As a team, we made
sure that everyone arrived at the ceremony on time, the ceremony started on
time, nothing was left behind after the ceremony, place cards were at the right
seats for dinner, the band knew when to play for traditional dances, everyone
was lined up for introductions, everyone was gathered for photographs- the list
is endless and this is only for the wedding day. Weddings are supposed to be a time for
families to come together and celebrate the marriage of their children, not
stress over whether or not the car will pick them up on time or if the cake
arrived at the reception site. Having
you there allowed everyone to enjoy this happy day and spend time with the ones
that they love. If there were any doubts
in my mind before about the necessity of a wedding coordinator, they have all
been wiped away. Thank you for such an
enlightening experience.
Sincerely,
Faith

Hi Sheryl,
I've got some great news. Thanks to my educational and work experience, and interning with you this year, I've been offered and accepted a position at an upscale hotel, working their events and attending to their bridal parties. With that, I wanted to take this opportunity to really thank you for what you've taught me the past 5 months- between interning and the Temple classes, I feel that my knowledge and experiences have grown immensely and have prepared me for this next step. I really appreciate all that you've taught me and will definitely apply what I've learned as I start this new position. Thank you again and best of luck with everything!
Marcy
I know you have been busy as well as I have been since moving back to school but I just wanted to take a second to send my sincere thanks for this past summer. I truly am grateful for your warming welcome. I definitely learned a lot of beneficial things that will help me in the future. This summer was definitely the positive experience I needed to help guide me. You were so eager to teach me about the business and show me the ins and outs of wedding planning. It was sad to say goodbye, but hopefully we will keep in touch.
Thank you so much again, Sheryl, for everything you have done for me!
Sincerely,
Allison |

Hi Sheryl,
I am not sure you remember me, but in Fall 2006 I walked into your office a shy, mid-western gal from indiana. I had the best semester of my life helping you plan weddings. I hope you have been well and business has been good. I see you got the 2007 Fox best choice award, congrats! as if I ever had a doubt you were the best choice :) You ran across my thoughts today, because I am doing my own first independent event tomorrow. I planned our annual ice cream social here at Earlham college and it is a big, fun event where we give away free ice cream. As I rushed around coordinating with all the different offices today, because of course stuff happened last minute to drastically change plans, I thought of all the great skills I was equipped with from you to deal with these minor issues. I had my timeline ready to go, knowing who was doing what, when, where, and how. I also had the great networking skills to work with multiple areas on our campus, even when people's nerves are getting fried and people are starting to get anxious. I feel calm, cool and collected as I walk into my first event and I wanted to thank you once again for all you contributed to me being this person. Event planning is still a major aspiration in my life and I still feel an incredible rush of energy doing this event, the same as when i would help at weddings. So thank you again, I miss your shop and working there so much, and especially those brownies from the bakery on the corner ;) I hope all is well and will drop you a line if I am ever in Philadelphia.
Sincerely,
Heather

Dear Sheryl:
Now that my internship is over, I want to share with you how valuable the experience was with you. I have learned so much that will help me as I enter the event planning industry, and the "real world" of work, as they call it. I really appreciate all of the time and energy you put into teaching me about the business.
Allowing me to have increasing responsibilities and husting me with specific tasks helped me to gain confidence in my skills and abilities. Being able to learn more about sales and gain a better understanding of how sales works was an invaluable experience. Letting me work independently on projects, yet always being there to answer my questions promoted a leaming environment that fostered a desire to learn and do well. It was great getting to know you and leaming from you; you really made my time in the office fun and enjoyable.
Thank you again. My experience was more than I had hoped for, and exceeded all of my expectations.
Regards,
Megan | | |
